Noyes Family Birthing Center
We are dedicated to making this experience special for you and your family.

The Birthing Center at Noyes is a newly remodeled, state of the art facility that provides a comfortable and caring environment.  Our staff consists of Doctors who are Board Certified in Obstetrics-Gynocology, lactation consultants, and on-site nurses who do everything they can to ensure comfort and privacy for you and your family.  For added convenience, your baby's picture may be posted on our New Babies program, which allows family members to see your newborn over the internet.  To arrange a tour, or to find a doctor who delivers at the Noyes Family Birthing Center, call (585) 335-4246.

State-of-the-Art, Family Centered Maternity Care
On arrival to the Noyes Family Birthing Center, you will be admitted to a labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum room (LDRP). Care throughout your delivery will be administered within the comfort and privacy of your room.

• Whirlpool Tubs

Taking Care of Mom and Baby
Lactation Consultant
A lactation consultant is available to assist you with breast-feeding, and to assure that you and your baby are off to a good start.  The lactation consultant also offers assistance through classes in the BABES program.  Nurses also provide follow-up phone calls at home to answer questions that have developed since you were discharged.

Emergency Care
If you require a Cesarean Section during delivery, you will be transferred from your room into a delivery room located within the birthing center. After your baby is born, you will return to your LDRP room for the rest of your stay.  Noyes works with the professionals at Strong Memorial Hospital if an emergency transport to a neonatal care unit is required.

Baby’s First Picture
The Noyes New Babies program gives you the opportunity to place your baby’s picture on the internet for family members to see right away.  In order to uphold our commitment of confidentiality, no last names are posted on the internet.
