Help that's always there.
E.A.R.S. Lifeline (Emergency Alert Response System) is a crucial link that provides peace of mind, independence, early intervention and reassurance to those living independently at home.
At the touch of a button, Lifeline summons assistance in the event of an emergency, an injury, a worsening medical condition, or simply if you are worried or feel as though you are in danger. It's there for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
With Lifeline, you'll feel a new sense of confidence and peace of mind.
How exactly does Lifeline work?
When you need help, you just press the waterproof Personal Help Button. You can wear the button as either a pendant , wristband, or watch. Within seconds, a certified Lifeline monitor responds, assesses the situation and summons appropriate help, whether it is a neighbor, relative or ambulance. The monitor who responds is a caring and extensively trained Lifeline professional. This person will have instant access to your pertinent health history and personal profile on his or her computer screen.
What If I'm Unable Push My Help Button?
For situations like this, you can choose an added layer of protection: the new AutoAlert option! It's the only pendant-style device that automatically places a call for help if a fall is detected and you are unable to push your button-i.e. unconscious, disoriented, or immobilized.
How Much Does Lifeline's Peace of Mind Cost?
For a little more than a dollar a day, you get the Lifeline Personal Response Service. You are not required to buy any equipment or make a long-term commitment. There is an initial installation fee of $45. Following installation, the subscriber pays a $33 monthly monitoring fee that covers everything you need. A sliding scale is available for those with low income. You can feel Lifeline safe too. Contact us for more details at (585) 335-4359, or email lifeline@noyes-hospital.org
