Job Description:
Provides IT support for all department databases, facilities security system, AutoCad drawing system, and Facilities electronic direct digital control system
(DDC). Is actively engaged in maintenance and troubleshooting of DDC, pneumatic HVAC control systems and security system database and hardware. Performs duties in all other departmental positions except electrician and Lead operations. Provides support assistance to the Department Director on projects and special assignments.
Job Requirements:
Associates Degree in related field or equivalent in related experience. Bachelors degree preferred. Experience with word processing/personal computer, machine and strong typing skills required. Experience with Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel, Access, and database design, development and management required. Experience with Facilities IT systems and management. AutoCad competency required. Ability to read blueprints, construction submittals and documents and/or related facilities experience required.
Construction experience with contract administration, construction paperwork, change orders, scheduling coordination preferred. May be required to work varying schedule
including overtime and weekends.

Job Description:
Functions independently under the general direction of IS Management, and
through cooperative efforts of the Project Manager and Physician Practice Manager,
implements and supports all PACS and Radiology-related systems and the Physician
Management and Electronic Medical Record applications for the hospital-owned,
multi-specialty physician practices. Responsible for training/education, end-user
support, 3rd party vendor management, assistance in workflow analysis, regular application
maintenance and upgrade testing, translating user requests into appropriate clinical
system functionality, and participation in future application implementations and
enhancements. Future efforts relating to the implementation and support of non-employed
physicians as a means of revenue-generation for the organization.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Associates degree in a technology related field required; Bachelors
preferred or equivalent in education and information technology experience.
Significant experience in practice management with an understanding of
physician practice workflows, the medical record/patient chart, practice management
standards and regulatory requirements, billing practices and reporting, and ambulatory
care electronic medical record implementation. Experience using eClinical Works is
preferred. Five years experience managing IT software technology driven projects.
Understanding of medical terminology, ambulatory medical processes and procedure
implementation is required. A working knowledge of Windows Vista, Windows XP, MS Office,
MS Exchange, eClinical Works, and systems networking. Demonstrated project management
skills, trouble-shooting, and problem solving skills. Solid mastery of training
techniques and other client relationship skills. Must possess a good understanding of the
technology and processes IT infrastructure and technology. Current NYS driver's license.
