Under minimal supervision, perform and oversee all secretarial support
services for Noyes First Steps (NFS) and support Diabetes Education,
Volunteers. Manage the smooth and efficient operation of all office
functions. Function as department receptionist. Manage all
billing/coding procedures for NFS and BABE classes.
Associates Degree plus completion of one year business scholl
or equivalent in experience required. Valid NYS drivers license
One year of secretarial with medical terminology. Strong computer
skills: word processing and database management required. Experience
with Microsoft office: Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher preferred.
Billing experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with
experience in problem solving and crisis intervention in Human
Services setting preferred. Demonstrated ability to function
independently using sound judgement and decision making. Self starter
with attention to detail.
