Job Description: 
Provide assistance to all patients regarding financial transactions during their stay and treatment at the hospital. Manage all patient accounts, utilizing the policies and procedures of the hospital.
Job Requirements: 
High school diploma or equivalent with typing and general knowledge of office equipment plus legible handwriting and English required. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions and extablished pricedures required. Experience in office procedures required. Experience in medical billing or related field desired.
First Steps Office Coordinator

Job Description: 
Under minimal supervision, perform and oversee all secretarial support services for Noyes First Steps (NFS) and support Diabetes Education, Volunteers. Manage the smooth and efficient operation of all office functions. Function as department receptionist. Manage all billing/coding procedures for NFS and BABE classes.
Job Requirements: 
Associates Degree plus completion of one year business scholl or equivalent in experience required. Valid NYS drivers license required. One year of secretarial with medical terminology. Strong computer skills: word processing and database management required. Experience with Microsoft office: Word, Excel, Access, and Publisher preferred. Billing experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with experience in problem solving and crisis intervention in Human Services setting preferred. Demonstrated ability to function independently using sound judgement and decision making. Self starter with attention to detail.
Ambulatory Tech
Job Details: 
Full Time, Days
Job Description: 
Performs clinical and technical functions to support, technical staff with patient care activities for MRI. Participates with coordinating workflow in order to maintain efficient and safe patient care/operation. Conducts self in a manner that is conducive to teamwork within the area of Imaging and MRI.
Job Requirements: 
Experience in a patient care setting or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging or medical terminology and procedures is preferred. Challenges and maintains Level II MRI safety training as outlined by the UR Imaging MRI safety policy. Computer experience is preferred. Effective communication skills.
